Description of the Ship:

The R.M.R.S Liberté was designed to be the most impressive vessel in the fleet. Her size, however, does not come close to the largest vessel in the Milky Way Galaxy, for key reasons.

The Rosebourg Monarchy's philosophy of a fleet capable of fast deployment anywhere in the galaxy meant that the Liberté needed to be able to operate usefully in the fleet.

To this end, she was designed to be a sleek vessel, incorporating every engine upgrade that could be placed upon her.

The vessel is a perfect merging of elegance with function. Her guns, although hidden, are quite potent and very advanced.

The Liberté and her sister ships have been assigned the daunting tasks of serving as the command vessels for the first interstellar war of the 26th Century.

The R.M.R.S. Liberté was constructed with one purpose in mind, to impress upon the other major powers the advancement that the Rosebourg Monarchy had made in the construction of her starships, and to impress upon the other major powers that despite an elongated recessional period, that she was still capable of constructing potent starships capable of competing with the other major interstellar powers.

To this end, the Liberté was constructed to replace the aging flagship Selavnoy. Because of her costs, however, the Rosebourg Monarchy only produced three other starships of this modified Mary-Rosebourg class; the others are serving as the flagship of the 3 other Rosebourg starship fleets.

Compartments: 5 - Main Fighterbay

The Main Fighterbay, one of the so-called jewels of the Liberté, is a large three-deck facility whose primary purpose is to store and launch a large number of fightercrafts and support crafts from the Liberté.

The three-level arrangement of the facility is designed to assist in the launching of fightercrafts and support crafts at a high rate of speed, because this causes ships to launch in a much more organized fashion.

On the first level, a large hanger bay, which carries all of the latest advances in aerospace technology, creates the first step towards launching fightercrafts.

The secondary level does the same, except for support crafts.

On the first level, the Liberté's 25 fightercrafts' cockpits are left in place waiting for call to action. There are also additional spaces for fightercrafts in the event that the Liberté leads a large Marine strike.

Once the fightercrafts need to be launched, Flight Engineers check and make sure the pilots are secured into their cockpits, and then the cockpits are dropped to the second level, where the cockpit is joined with the rest of the fighter. The fighter is then launched out of the ship via catapults.

The main Fighterbay, which stores and launches both fighters and bomber type fighters, also has all of the facilities needed for the Liberté's other support crafts. The bay is able to care and manage one squadron of fighters during times of peace, however, should the need come, this can be expanded to two squadrons during peak wartime.

Other auxiliary craft needed for the fighters like ferries (to tow them back), fuel transports, etc. can also be placed in the storage site below the deck main hanger deck.

In case of emergency there are always 4-8 fighters always placed on full readiness on the main hanger deck in case of a needed emergency take off.

Compartments: 8 - Tactical Combat Analysis Center (TCAC)

From the TCAC, the Captain can observe a battle and also plan out strategic orders. The Tactical Combat Analysis Center is a large room, which is surrounded by four metallic walls on all sides; the aft wall also has the two stairways leading up to a massive display of the current location of all Rosebourg Monarchy starships.

Forming a circular outer-rim, the TCAC is equipped with a number of consoles, which are able to detect and critique the battle status of the ship, as well as the general Tactical conditions of the sectors around the Liberté. The bridge officers can also reprogram these consoles for active bridge control use thereby serving as an equally able emergency bridge.

The TCAC is furthermore defined by a central and extremely large circular console which forms "the heart" of the TCAC, on the console, a large map of the sector in which the Liberté is located would be displayed showing the exact Tactical locations of other ships nearby.

Compartments: 9 - Intelligence Systems Bay (Raven's Roost)

Located just under the Tactical Combat Analysis Center is the Intelligence Systems Bay, a powerful intelligence gathering suite that can take over all intelligence gathering duties for one third of the entire fleet should it be necessary.

Raven's Roost, as it is affectionately called is a circular room that speaks both of attention to design as well as beauty. As one enters Raven's Roost, they are greeted with an outer circular corridor that is ringed by an inner glass wall. A central corridor runs through the entire Raven's Roost providing access to the entire section of Raven's Roost.

The internal section is surrounded by the inner glass wall, mounted on the glass wall are all kinds of intelligence readouts, and in the exact center of the room, there is also a massive circular display readout that is split in the center for ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) and SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) divisions of Intelligence.

The room has an overpowering metal and glass feel to it that is a characteristic of the internals of Rosebourg flag vessels.

Compartments: 12 - Battle Bridge

Deep inside the ship is the starship's battle bridge, protected by section after section of hull; the battle bridge serves as the central coordination for all activity within the starship. The bridge, like Raven's Roost and TCAC is a circular design that is designed to impress upon entry.

In the back of the room are massive displays that provide Damage Control as well as general engineering information in the event of the battle.

In the center of the room are two-semi circular groups of consoles and displays that are split in the center by the chairs of the Commanding Officer, the Executive Officer, and the Second Officer.

The consoles located behind the Commanding Officer are usually earmarked for Medical, Marine, and support craft operations, while the consoles in front are earmarked for Operations, Navigations, and Tactical purposes.

The Commanding Officer sits in the center of the room, with his Executive Officer to the right, and his Second Officer to his left. On the wall next to the Second Officer, there is a massive tactical display updated regularly by the AEGIS Threat Analysis sensors.

On the wall next to the Executive Officer stands the plaque commemorating the Rosebourg Quadaz blessing ceremony for the ship.

In front of the Operations, Navigations, and Tactical officers stands a massive visual display that can be used for communications, visual identification, and other coordinating purposes.

Compartments: 18 - Main Med-Bay

The Liberté's main med-bays are designed to follow the basic general design of all the main layout components of the Mary-Rosbourg modified class battleships. The main med-bay, which is composed of the latest in medical technology, is designed to provide medical attention to a portion of the crew aboard the Liberté that they are based on.

Controlled by a very specialized medical crew, the Liberté's med-bay designs follow the rest of the ship in resemblance, but the usage is quite different.

A center circle that defines a very extensive surgical unit characterizes the med-bay, which resembles Central Engineering's vortex core locale. Like Central Engineering, the surgical area surrounded all around by a glass wall, which is 4 meters away from the center of the circle.

Behind the glass wall stand medical bio beds, which are evenly spaced and go all around the med-bay. These Biobeds are standard examination bio beds and should not be used for surgery except under extreme circumstances in which the Liberté's med-bay are overworked with patients.

There are two doors on either side of the circular med-bay, one leads to the Chief Medical Officer's and Chief Surgeon's while the other leads to the exit. All in all, the med-bay has 98 regular bio beds, one single main surgical unit and in Medical Laboratory 1, one cryogenic facilities to keep serious patients in stasis until a medical ship can be located.

Compartments: 34 - Marines Debriefing Room

Designed as a Marines mission operations Center, the Marines Debriefing Room is a characteristic which as rarely been added but has been incorporated into the design of the Mary-Rosbourg Class battleships.

The Marines Debriefing Room, which is designed for use by the Marines complement of the Liberté for mission briefings and debriefings, is intended for use as a highly active room. Also used to analyse a Marines' previous mission such as protocol review or success rates check the main room becomes a major requirement for Marines Operations.

The Main Debriefing Room, which offers a theatre style central room capable of seating 100 people inside a room that has 50 chairs set in rows of 5 to one row. This 50/50 chairs combination is split in the middle by a walkway in which the Marines head can use as an effective audience tool. In an isolated area of the Marines Debriefing Room, a small room, which is used by the RMRS Liberté's home division, serves as the centrepiece of luxury granted to the Marines.

This rather small room holds some experimental equipment to be used by the Marines Staff, which also help to characterize it. An oval shaped table, which is able to seat 20 people, is placed in the center of the room; the design is based on the ideals of the Knights of the Round Table.

The aesthetics were chosen so as to allow all Marines of the Liberté's home division to be able to see each other to provide peer-support during hard combat missions. The rooms' chairs are leather with high backs, characterized by a rumoured great comfort from the Second Officer.

Above the table in the ceiling is a hologram projector and when analysing a Marines' mission, it can be used to program screen stills of objectives, and a visual playback of how a unit performed during debriefing. The hologram projector is also used during briefing assignments to show strategic logistics prior to a mission.

Concluding, on the forward wall is a large screen, basically for use as a communications and/or additional computer display.

Compartments: 35 - Central Engineering

Mary-Rosbourg Modified Class battleships are the first vessels to incorporate almost completely new designs for the Engineering module layout.

Central Engineering is powered by a new vortex drive, which is thinner and is surrounded by a metallic and streamlined encasement. Surrounding the vortex drive is a hallway going around the drive.

About 4 meters away from the vortex drive are huge glass displays of the entire ship, which is repeated 4 times throughout the circular hallway. Between each of these displays are doors, which lead to small and specialized engineering rooms.

The first of these rooms is a conference room, which has a small circular glass table in the center, which the Chief Engineering officer can use for conferring with his staff.

In the second room is a power management room in which the Engineering staff can circulate any power to any part of the ship or divert and change the location of power's location.

In the third room is a armaments loading and weapons control room in which the weapons are armed, countermeasures loaded. Any changes to any of the Liberté's armaments or defenses can be done from here.

In the fourth room is a multiple usage Engineering room, which has all the functions that can be found inside a Mary-Rosebourg class starship's Central Engineering. The fourth room also has an outgoing door, which leads to the lift chamber.

Central Engineering's hallway floor consists of reinforced glass titanium, which shows depictions of models of earlier flagships of the Rosebourg Monarchy. The carpeting inside the rooms consists of a light teal carpet that are not fire conductive.
